COMEDIAN: Justin Moorhouse

Entertaining the audience will be Phil Walker, Justin Moorhouse, George Zach and MC Rob Riley.

Phil Walker began his career as a Butlins redcoat and is now a firm favourite at comedy clubs across the land.

Manchester’s Justin Moorhouse has toured the UK with his stand up, been nominated for his theatre acting, appeared in films and won Celebrity Mastermind.

Greek comedian George Zach takes the middle spot and Rob Riley comperes.

Then on Sunday, November 29, Michael Legge and Meryl O’Rourke come to the club for the first time to join Tom Wrigglesworth as Mick Ferry comperes.

Yorkshire man Tom Wrigglesworth is now firmly established as one of the UK’s most distinctive and sought after talents and is a regular on Radio 4.

London-based, Northern-Irish comedian Michael Legge was nominated for a BAFTA award for his writing on the MTV website of the show The Osbournes and is joined by middle act Meryl O’Rourke.

Then, seeing out the comedy for the year on Sunday, December 27 MC Mick Ferry will introduce three more top-class comedians.

Daliso Chaponda began his comedy career in Canada, including his show ‘Don’t Let Them Deport Me’, and now regularly appears in Africa and across Britain.

Former circus acrobat Martin Mor has been a mainstay of the circuit for decades and is one of the few acts to have performed on Radio 4’s ‘Woman’s Hour’ as well as in an Italian prison.

The middle act for the evening is Dean Mavros.
