GREENFIELD-based Hartley Botanic is celebrating again after the successful launch of two new glasshouses at the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival.Their tradestand, showcasing their new Magnum Opus glasshouse and Hartley 6 grow and store greenhouse won a five-star award.
It followed a similar award at the 2019 RHS Chelsea flower show.
The two new structures boast clean lines and concealed engineering, with the Magnum Opus offering architectural grandeur and the Hartley 6 Grow & Store attractive practicality for the modern Greenhouse owner.
The tradestand also showed Hartley Botanic’s handmade greenhouses and glasshouses in a new light.
The Opus was dressed as an artist’s studio, the Grow & Store as a medicinal herb laboratory and a stately Victorian Lodge as a ‘scandi’ al fresco dining room.
Founded in 1938, Hartley Botanic was the first to design and make aluminium greenhouses in the UK, gaining recognition for their unique ‘clearspan’ designs which rid the interior of internal bracing, maximising light and usable space.
“For us it is really about customer choice, running alongside a continuing focus on innovation,” said HB managing director Tom Barry.
“No-one else offers the breadth and depth of range that we do at Hartley Botanic.
Hartley Botanic has seen an increasing interest in contemporary greenhouse and glasshouse structures over the last few years, due to a growing number of customers interested in, not only growing, but also in displaying carefully curated plant collections.
Hartley Botanic is the only aluminium greenhouse manufacturer whose entire product range is endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society.
Their RHS Flower Show tradestands are award-winning, with their Hampton Court Garden Festival tradestand awarded 5 Stars last year.
