Dancing in the street

By Suzanne Amos

AN AWARD-WINNING street dancer wants to spread her passion to the next generation by launching classes in Saddleworth.

Natalie Chadwick, 28, will run the classes for children from 11 years old, teenagers, and young adults, and is seeking a dance or gym studio to teach at. P19 - street dance

As the popularity of street dance nationally reaches new highs, Natalie, who has experience in dance styles from ballroom to ballet, is keen to spread the bug.

She said: “I have won competitions at Winter Gardens Blackpool for street dance.

“I have now ventured into teaching this freestyle, flexible and out of the box dance class to both girls and boys from 11 plus right up to teenagers and even older”.

She added the classes will be fun and high energy, and she choreographs them herself to the latest music.

Moves are broken down and can be learnt at an individual pace and Natalie said it is an excellent way to get children and teenagers excited about keeping fit.

Anyone with a dance or gym space for Natalie to teach in, or anyone wanting to attend the classes should contact her for more information on 07904 102974.
