DELPH BOXER Andrew Kremner is preparing for the biggest fight of his career so far.
The 22-year-old light-welterweight takes on unbeaten Taz Apergis at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, on Saturday, October 24.
Greek-born Apergis, who is now Manchester based, has won all five of his bouts as a professional as has Andrew.
He said: “We have both won all five fights as professionals so someone’s record will go that night.
“It is make or break because, if I win, I am likely to get a shot at a big fight.
“Apergis has also fought similar opponents to myself and our careers have mirrored one another which makes it an interesting match-up.
“Looking at our records, the bout ought to be for a title. It isn’t, but it is going to be my hardest fight as a pro.”
Apergis is also a southpaw so Andrew is sparring against other fighters with that style.
“I am leaving no stone unturned and working hard and am confident I will win.”
Tickets for the fight are available from Andrew on 07470 332 490 and will be priced either £30 or £35.
