DENSHAW ODDFELLOWS won at leaders Waterhead Shepherds Boy to move joint top of division one of the Saddleworth Charity Pool League.
The two teams both have amassed 55 points from eight games with Uppermill Commercial ‘A’ not far behind in third place with 50 points.
There was a huge upset in division two as leaders Springhead Liberal ‘A’ saw their unbeaten start to the season ended by their lowly ‘B’ team.
Springhead Liberal ‘A’ remain top with 48 points from seven games while second-placed Delph Club has 40 points from seven.
Watch out for Woodbrook Spinners who are third with 39 points from six matches.
