A PROGRAMME of roadworks at the junction of Sugar Lane/Standedge Road and along Wool Road start on Friday, February 14 and will take approximately five weeks.
The works include the creation of a roundabout, construction of a new pedestrian crossing island, footway buildouts and parking laybys, lining works, resurfacing works and providing bus platforms (currently grass verges).
To ensure both safety and minimise disruption, works will be carried out from 9.30am-3.30pm when temporary lights are required and normal working hours at all other times.
