THERE WAS double delight for a top Grotton salon at the glittering 2016 Guinot Awards in London.
The team of therapists from The Face and Body group made the special trip down to the capital for the ceremony at the magnificent Montcalm Hotel and Brewery.
The salon, owned by Val Simpson, was awarded prestigious Guinot Crown Salon status once more, which they have maintained since they opened in 1997.
And therapist Lauren Speakman was honoured as a finalist in the Guinot Therapist of the Year Award, having already been crowned Regional Therapist of the Year for the North of England.
The whole team travelled to London to celebrate Lauren’s achievement and also pick up their salon award at the event, which was hosted this year by Joanna Lumley.
Lisa McGuinness, manager, said: “Unfortunately Lauren was pipped at the post for the top slot, but we are hugely proud of her finalist status and Regional Therapist of the Year Award.
“We had an amazing time at the after party and a fantastic weekend of celebration as we combined the awards with our Christmas party.
“The girls would all like to thank Val for a fabulous time, some great laughs, and a memorable party.”
