THERE WAS double delight for a Diggle tile company as they scooped two awards in a national competition which was set up with the help of an Oldham business champion.
Saddleworth Tile Centre, based at Warth Mill,was named Most Loved Business in Oldham and also Most Loved Tile Supplier nationally in the ‘Local and Loved Awards 2015’.
The awards are organised by thebestof, a national network dedicated to supporting local businesses, and are part of the Local and Loved Campaign set up by Richard Taylor of thebestof Oldham.
The awards showcase great independent businesses countrywide and see local people vote in categories such as “UK Business of the Year” and “Most Loved” in a specific industry sector.
Jayne Lunn, who owns the reputable, family-run, tile and tile accessory supplier was handed the awards at an exclusive Member’s evening held at the White Hart, Lydgate.
She said: “We are very pleased to accept the awards. We have received some fantastic reviews from customers of which we are very grateful and we will continue to offer the same high level of service.
“We have a great working relationship with thebestof Oldham and the encouragement and support they offer is wonderful.”
Richard, who works with companies across the borough, added: “It was fantastic news to know Saddleworth Tile Centre had won.
