Double treat for Saddleworth comedy fans at Off The Rails this month

COMEDIAN: Ray Peacock

COMEDY FANS are in for a treat this month with two hilarious shows planned by the Saddleworth Off The Rails Comedy Club.

Saturday, March 14 sees both reigning BBC New Comedy Award Winner Lost Voice Guy and Ray Peacock take the stage at The Royal George, Greenfield, for the first time.

Ray has gained a cult following from The Peacock and Gamble Podcast he co-hosts and he also presents The Comedy Club on BBC Radio 4 Extra.

The line is completed by Dave Williams, who makes a long overdue return, while Rob Riley comperes.

Dave is a well-established comedian and a regular at Manchester Comedy Store and most of his material stems from his transition from Barrow Dave Williams to the leafy suburbs of Didsbury.

Tickets cost £12/£10 advance and the event is raising funds for Delph Primary School.

Then, Sunday, March 29 sees Perrier Award Winner Phil Nichol make his Saddleworth debut alongside cop turned comic Alfie Moore, Jay Handley and MC Danny McLoughlin.

Multi-award winning Phil is an energetic and exciting act with an unquenchable thirst to break boundaries and innovate with his work.

When police sergeant Alfie entered a stand up comedy competition in 2007 he had no idea it would eventually lead to him swapping his truncheon for a microphone on a much more permanent basis!

Tickets cost £9/£5 NUS.

For both shows, book tickets online now. Doors 7.30pm Show 8pm prompt.
