A DOUBLE dose of laughter is on offer at the first ever Saddleworth Comedy Weekend on Saturday September, 27 and Sunday 28 at The Royal George pub in Greenfield.
For Saturday night’s fundraiser, TV’s Joe Lycett will take to the stage along with Gavin Webster as Oldham P.H.A.B. aim to raise £1,000.
Joe Lycett is a hugely talented comedian an effortless stage presence and his original, anecdotal material has led him to progress rapidly since his first gig in 2008.
And Gavin Websterbrings quick-fire pastiche pieces, moronic jokes and sardonic songs to the stage – a unique style which has brought him unrivalled praise and attention.

Then onSunday there are only a few tickets remaining to see Ivan Brackenbury’s Hospital Radio Roadshow, Ian D Montfort and Adam Rushton, with Andrew Ryan as compere.
The Hospital Radio Roadshowcaptures all the fun and excitement you would expect from being in hospital, with a special blend of music and chat.
And Ian D Montfortdiffers from ‘ordinary’ psychics with Princess Di, Hitler,Elvis, Rod Hull and Emu all likely to appear.
