SOME GREAT deals can be snapped up by residents during the ‘Super Saver Week’ in Oldham town centre from Saturday 13 February until Sunday 21 February.
Oldham Council and the Town Centre Business Partnership have teamed up with a host of businesses to support the event and offer a host of different money-saving deals.
The great offers include a massive 50 per cent of all items at Zutti Co, 81-83 Yorkshire Street and also at Dr Kershaws at 28-30 Yorkshire Steeet; and 10 per cent off everything at the popular indie clothing store Scoots, Suits and Boots, 54 Yorkshire Street.
Enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee with every cake bought at Nola’s Tea Rooms at 49-51 George Street or get a second t-shirt half price when you buy one at Customised Clothing in Tommyfield Market Hall.
There’s also savings on fresh meats from the various butchers who sell their wares in Tommyfield Market Hall, plus much, much more.
To redeem your chosen offer just mention ‘Super Saver Week’ when you make your purchase.
Councillor Eddie Moores, Deputy Cabinet Member for Economy and Enterprise, said: “Oldham Council is doing as much as we can to encourage more people to come into the town centre and to support our local businesses, especially after Christmas when sales traditionally dip.
“Together with the Town Centre Business Partnership and local businesses we are working to make the town centre a better place for shoppers and residents and this ‘Super Saver Week’ shows that co-operative commitment.
“We’d like to thank all the businesses taking part in this promotion and supporting our plans.
“Thanks to the Metrolink and three hours of free car parking at all council-owned car parks during weekends Oldham Town Centre really is open for business.”
