TWO EXPERIENCED consultants have joined the team at an award-winning communications and marketing agency in Uppermill.
Jessica Beckett, 30, joins Pelican Communications from the Trinity Mirror having worked as part of the Manchester Evening News group of titles for more than seven years.
Originally from Rochdale, Jessica has a wealth of journalism and management experience having served as both a reporter and deputy news editor.
She will work across a number of key food, foodservice and logistics accounts, managing a small team of consultants.
Joe Robinson, also 30, joins the company and brings with him a wide range of experience having worked in local Government and parliamentary communications and in journalism at both The Gazette, Blackpool’s local newspaper, and at Radio 4.
Born in Oldham, Joe will work across a number of key food, packaging and environmental sector accounts.
Both are expected to help drive the business and will play a key role in winning new accounts and assisting junior team members.
