Then on Pie Day on Wednesdays, there is a choice between meat, cheese and onion, steak and kidney or lamb and mint, served with mushy peas, beans, chips, and bread and butter.
Curry Day on Thursdays offers curry served with rice, chips and naan bread while on Fish Night on Fridays, customers can enjoy fish, chips, mushy peas and bread and butter.
Janet said: “Jean and I thought we would set up our own kitchen called the Stock Pot at the Wellington.
“All our food is locally sourced – our meat is from Tim Scott the Butcher in Greenfield and our fish is freshly delivered from Fleetwood for our haddock and chips with mushy peas.”
