EXCITEMENT is in the air for both pupils and staff at Holy Trinity CE Dobcross School as they look forward to the opening of their new pre-school this September.

There will be spaces for 24 children aged three to four years at the new pre-school, with full wrap around provision available from 7.30am to 6pm.
Deborah Hodgin, deputy head at the school on Delph New Road, explained the development has come into fruition after demand from parents and the community.
“We are really looking forward to the opening of our new pre-school and are very excited about it,” she added.
“This offers parents a chance to give their child the best possible start to their education, confident that they will be cared for and nurtured within the heart of the loving, high achieving school community,” she added.
“Our expert Early Years staff will guide and encourage your child through the first stages of their education, ensuring they are given every opportunity to show their true potential.
“Results have shown that children attending Holy Trinity Early Years provision have entered into their reception year of learning well on their way to achieving their Good level of Development award.
“Holy Trinity Pre-School will provide your child with a safe, caring and happy environment in which to flourish and grow.
“Expert staff will offer a variety of stimulating, challenging activities and experiences which will help your child thrive and gain confidence to progress at their own pace to reach their early learning goals.”
A full refurbishment of the interior will take place ready for the pre-school to open its doors full-time in September. Phase two – to refurbish the exterior – will take place shortly after.
Places are limited so do not delay. 30 hours free childcare available.
