IF YOU have every thought of running your own business, come along to Oldham Libraries for a series of free events showcasing ideas and helpful advice on how to get started.
The free series, starting on Thursday, January 22, will feature some of the region’s successful entrepreneurs and business gurus.
Susan Witterick, director of dBx Acoustics Ltd, will provide an insight into her experiences of setting up and running a successful and established business.
This event is part of the Start Up Engines project, one of the Enterprising Libraries projects funded by Arts Council England and the Department for Communities and Local Government.
A programme of 50 events is planned, which will bring top business brains to Greater Manchester to act as role models and offer practical help on getting a business off the ground.
‘How I started up’ will be held at Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre, Greaves Street, Oldham, OL1 1AL on Thursday, January 22 from 6-8pm.
