STORMING NORMAN has two reasons to celebrate as he raised £1,524 for Oldham Macmillan nurses as well as getting engaged.
Norman Wisely coordinated the Cheese and Wine Evening at the Wellington Pub in Greenfield in aid of the charity, who helped care for his partner Stephanie before she passed away from cancer last year.
Now, he has raised the staggering amount to add to £3,000 raised in 2014 at a similar event at the popular pub.
A cheque was presented to Derek Heffernan, chairman of Saddleworth Macmillan Nurses, and team by staff at the pub.
And Norman was also celebrating as he has got engaged to his partner Lisa, both pictured here enjoying the array of cheeses on offer at the event.
Norman would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and contributors to the Wellington Pub’s fantastic fundraiser.
