THERE was cake and celebrations galore as Kids Car Boot celebrated its sixth birthday in November.
The initiative is run in Saddleworth by Steve Winfield and Kerri Roberts and offers a monthly market at Saddleworth School.
Children’s products can be sold, swapped or bought to help clear the house of clutter, and make money too. Any leftover items can be donated to be taken to Barnardo’s.
Steve and Kerri said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to those who attended and the stall holders who came to celebrate with us.
“There were lots of amazing bargains to be had and customers were walking out with bags and bags of toys, clothes and other children’s items.
“We would like to wish all our followers a happy Christmas and a happy new year.”
Customers and stall holders also tucked into a delicious birthday cake which was provided by Something Yummy.
The next Kids Car Boot event is on Sunday, December 2 at Saddleworth School from 10am-12noon. There is plenty of parking.
Admission is just £1 for adults, children go free. Refreshments available.
