Local elections 2018: the results

Oldham went to the polls on Thursday, May 3. Here is how they voted locally in Saddleworth North, Saddleworth South, and Saddleworth West and Lees:

Saddleworth North

  • Pam Byrne (Conservative): 933 – ELECTED
  • John Eccles (Lib Dem): 882
  • George Hulme (Labour): 820
  • Turnout: 33.98 percent

Saddleworth South

  • Helen Bishop (Independent): 180
  • Jamie Curley (Conservative): 1215 – ELECTED
  • Catherine Hunter-Rossall (Green Party): 103
  • Ian Manners (Labour and Co-operative): 793
  • John McCann (Lib Dem): 1043
  • Turnout: 40.49 percent (highest in borough)

Saddleworth West and Lees

  • Sam Al-Hamdani (Liberal Democrats): 737
  • Andris D’Adamo (Conservative): 842
  • Valerie Leach (Labour): 1042 – ELECTED
  • Turnout: 31.36 percent
