A MEMORIAL service to remember loved ones will be held at Greenfield Methodist Church on Sunday, November 17.The service, starting at 3pm, is open to anyone who wishes to attend and there will be the opportunity for those who wish to light a candle, read a poem, or participate in some other way.
Refreshments will be served after the service in the church hall.
Rev Gary Ridley said: “The loss of a loved one is a most distressing experience in life.
“There is no standard way of grieving. We are all individuals and have our own particular ways of expressing and coping with loss.
“The opportunity to remember our loved one is important. Those cherished memories will remain a vital part of their enduring legacy.
“In order to help people come to terms with their loss, whether recent or from years past, the Methodist church in Greenfield is holding a memorial service for anyone who wishes to attend.”
