WITH BUSINESS booming for a top Saddleworth construction and property development company, they have spread their wings to help residents and firms across Greater Manchester.
Oldfield Construction has been at the heart of local renovations for 21 years, most recently Springhead Infant and Nursery School and a barn conversion in Diggle.
Renowned for high-quality workmanship and being timescale and budget-sensitive, the company offers an intimate service working with local trusted electricians, plasterers, and plumbers.
And now, headed by Andy and Stewart Potts, the team of eight is sharing its skills further afield with commercial contracts and smaller home projects across Manchester.
They have just completed the regeneration of a large residential house into low-cost flats in Salford, with the tenants set to move into their new homes this week.
A start-to-finish bathroom and dressing room project in Wilmslow is also newly-finished, while a loft conversion and underground gym in the same area is in progress.
And this month Oldfield are even heading down to work in Abersoch in North Wales as they well and truly go the distance for their customers.
The team is also extending its skills by taking part in a course to learn how to fit zinc and copper roofing, as seen on TV programme Grand Designs.
The company prides itself on its eco-friendly approach, making cost affective improvements and using energy-saving new build techniques to reduce bills.
Three members of Oldfield’s staff are also juggling their busy work schedules with training for a triathlon in Nantwich in June to raise money for Cancer Research.
Oldfield’s work ranges from home improvements, including extensions, conservatories, patios and kitchens, to commercial contracts of new builds, renovations, and conversions.
