More work in pipeline at the Clarence Hotel

MORE work is planned to develop a popular Greenfield pub just months after an extensive refurbishment and reopening.

The Clarence, at the junction of Manchester Road and Chew Valley Road, was closed for five months last year.

Jason, set about with ambitious plans to transform his latest hostelry.

The Clarence underwent extensive work, including redecorating the bar and restaurant areas, new furniture, and improvements to the toilets.

Now Jason has announced more plans for further work to be carried out.

Planning permission has been granted to create a kitchen extension by adding a small modular single storey extension at the rear of the pub to provide a cold room, with work expected to be carried out in January.

And then in February-March, there are plans to create five new ensuite double bedrooms upstairs to expand the pub’s offerings.
