Mouse at the Austerlands ‘house’ for new festival

AUSTERLANDS Cricket Club is the latest venue added to the ever-growing summer festival circuit.

Fast on the heels of Cotton Clouds at Saddleworth Cricket Club (Saturday, August 18) comes the Pow Wow organised by M35 Music.

Hosted at the Thorpe Lane ground on Sunday, August 26, the event promises to be a treat for lovers of acid house, hip hop, house and indie music.

The event, restricted to a capacity of 460, is headed by the Mancunian hip hop production team and live band, Mouse Outfit.

The group, who released its third album, ‘Jagged Tooth Crook’ earlier this year, are joined by Big Unit, Dermo from Northside, Control of the Going, Black Sonic Revolver, the Maitlands, Y Key Operators and Microdots.

Well-known Manc DJ, Dave Haslam will be on the decks alongside the likes of Jay Wearden, Mike Chetcuti and Dave Pullen.

The event is open to over 21s only and tickets are priced at £20 and £25 for VIPs.

It runs from 1pm to midnight and carries the hashtag #nodivs
