DEBBIE ABRAHAMS, MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth, showed her creative flair by taking part in the Red Nose Day Parliamentary Baking Competition 2015.
The competition, which was judged by celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott, was held at Westminster to celebrate this year’s Red Nose Day.

MPs were tasked with decorating a cupcake with an array of icing and toppings including Red Nose Day themed cake toppers.
Mrs Abrahams said: “The work Comic Relief does across the UK is incredibly important and this was a really fun way to get involved.
“It’s great everyone in Oldham East and Saddleworth can be a part of the fundraising for Red Nose Day, it’s really good fun and for a terrific cause.”
Kevin Cahill, Chief Executive of Comic Relief added: “It was great to see Debbie and so many other MPs roll their sleeves up and take part in the Sainsbury’s and Maltesers Parliamentary Baking Competition.
“We were all really impressed with the creativity we saw and baking is afantastic way to raise money for Red Nose Day this year.”
Comic Relief spends money raised on Red Nose Day, held every two years, to help change the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the UK and Africa and this year just more than £1billion was raised.
