SADDLEWORTH School’s Under-14 netball team is one win away from being crowned Greater Manchester champions.
The final county game against Cardinal Langley will determine whether they finish top of the table.
In their penultimate match, Saddleworth beat local rivals Bluecoat School 27-7.
Despite struggling to get the final pass into the circle, Saddleworth established a 7-2 lead in the opening quarter.
Fabulous attacking play from Jess Meek, Amy Pearce and player-of-the-match Miranda Lowe helped Saddleworth establish a 18-4 advantage by half time.
The third and fourth quarters were a case of using the game to practise set plays and different positions with victory assured.
The squad was Millie Hampson, Caitlyn Lunn, Mia Dyer, Mia Periera, Eva Gater, Ciera Southern, Jess Meek, Amy Pearce and Miranda Lowe.
