RELAXING: Rachel demonstrates the “no hands” massage on Farha

She held the unusual event at her new holistic wellbeing centre at 99a High Street, where she moved to in February with her established business In Harmony Therapies.

Her idea was so popular that she and assistant therapist Farha Mahmood treated 17 clients with 30-minute sessions between 10am and 4pm.

Customers enjoyed a holistic deep tissue ‘no hands’ massage using the soft fronts of the forearms to help combat pain, stress and anxiety.

Rachel, who lives in Mossley, said: “The day was really good and everybody really enjoyed it.

“It’s nice a support a local charity too. I’m a mum so it rang true with me. I wanted to make a difference with a small donation where it would mean more.

“It’s gone really well and I hope to do something similar a couple of times a year to help other charities too.”

Fully qualified professional Rachel offers a range of holistic wellbeing treatments in a large, calm and welcoming atmosphere at the premises.

The ‘no hands’ massage has 20 years of clinical testing and can be a full body massage, structural release to target back, neck and hips, repletion massage to restore energy levels or detox massage to energise digestive system.

Rachel also offers Natural Facelift Massage and Organic Facial treatments from £35 along with a range of quality organic skincare products from Neal’s Yard.
