A POPULAR Scouthead pub has thrown open its doors to unveil its new look after undergoing a two-week renovation.
It was standing room only at The Three Crowns Restaurant and Inn as landlord and lady Ray and Sue Hicks proudly showed off the refurbished venue at their re-launch evening.

Expectant locals flocked to see the changes and were greeted by the freshened-up outside, complete with new signage.
They stepped inside to admire the redecorated interior with new upholstery throughout to bring a chic and modern feel without losing the charm of the original building.
Many of the pub’s signature features have been retained so guests can dine in comfort and style, including Ray’s famous collection of sporting photographs which still grace the walls.
To celebrate the re-launch, guests enjoyed a glass a champagne and delicious canapés created by Executive Chef Anthony Byrom, who offers a new and regularly changing menu.
Ray commented: “This renovation project is the latest in a series of improvements we’ve been making to Inn over the last 12 months.
“We hope the new décor and our good reputation will keep guests coming back. We might even attract some new people who haven’t tried us before.

“The feedback from the launch night is that everyone is as impressed with the results as we are,” he added.
