BUSINESS AND pleasure will be combined at a new networking event being launched in Uppermill this month.

Business adviser Philip Pearson, 44, is the brains behind the event, which will be held for the first time on Tuesday, January 19 at Java on the village High Street, starting at 6pm.
The father-of-one, who set up Morgan Pearson Business Advisers last March, hopes the event will bring together Saddleworth business owners to share problems as well as chat.
“There are a lot of businesses in the area and I just want to bring them together to talk about any problems they have or successes, as well as mingle generally,” Philip explained.
“We will keep it casual and there will be discounted drinks and nibbles available, thanks to Java and Bobby who I’ve been working with there to organise this.
“I don’t want to the event to be too formal or run by an agenda, and Ihope it will appeal to lots of different kinds of businesses from across Saddleworth.
“And it’s good to help Java out as a local business,” added Philip, who has been part of the Oldham Business Leadership Group and Norman Stoller Enterprise Fund.
The networking event will last around an hour and Philip, who lives in Delph, hopes to hold them on a quarterly basis in the future.
For more information about the networking event or to book your place please email Philip at philip@morganpearson.co.uk or call 07715 373910. Places are limited so booking is essential.

Really interested in attending one of these meetings but unfortunately I have a pottery class running on a Tuesday evening.
Would appreciate an email of any future events.
Hi Sue, thanks for your comment, but you haven’t left any contact details. I would suggest you email Philip (his email is at the bottom of the article) and make contact, so he can let you know what is happening with future events. Thanks.
