SADDLEWORTH PARISH Council’s Planning Committee recommended approval for a series of planning applications at their January meeting. They included:
Miss Ramsbottom, Dumfries Avenue, Denshaw: Single storey side extension and front porch
Mr Hanks, Millcroft Lane, Delph: Erection of two double garages; Subject to use ofreclaimed materials as proposed
Mr Shaw, Pickhill Lane, Uppermill: Single storey rear extension; Subject to use of reclaimed materials
Mr Mather, Spring Grove works, off Chew Valley Rd, Greenfield: Demolition of existing works and erection of three dwellings with associated parking; Subject to full width macadam road surface being provided at the rear of the properties
Bridgestone Construction, Tamewater Court, Dobcross: Conversion of two dwellings into two ground floor apartments and two duplex apartments on first and second floor; Subject to the enforcement of the existing condition to remove barriers at the entrance to the site when development is completed
Mr Mistry, Parkfield Road, Grasscroft: Single storey rear extension and front and rear dormers
Mr Broughton, Oaklands Park, Grasscroft; Two storey extension
Chapman (Saddleworth) Ltd, Victoria Works, Wool Road, Dobcross: New gates to replace the existing vehicular barrier; Subject to footpath access of at least 1.2 metres in accordance with the Definitive Footpath Statement and allowing access for disabled vehicles. The existing footpath adjacent to the stream should be restored to its original width of 1.2 metres.
