AT Saddleworth Rangers’ annual presentation night, Sam Hart was named Man of Steel, Josh Bradbury was coach’s player of the year and Gareth Morgan players’ player of the year. Phil Wood was clubman of the year.
In the second team, Rob Kivlin was coach’s player of the year while the players’ player award went to Jimmy Buckley.
Rangers’ Sam Eyres recently featured for Lancashire Under-19s in their tri-series victory after beating Cumbria and Yorkshire.
Other players to have played representative rugby have included Gareth Morgan who recently toured New Zealand with the open-age England Community Lions.
Ben Shields, James Downham-Clark and Jack Kenway have all played for Lancashire at junior level.
