But when Ed Tunnah, from Greenfield, took his copy on holiday to Wales, he shared it with a more unusual reader – a dragon!
Ed, who was holidaying with his family and girlfriend Emma Howarth, is pictured here with Dewi the Dragon in front of Harlock Castle during a trip around the area.
He said: “I always pick up a copy of the paper and made sure to get one before we went away in the summer.
“I thought it would be a bit different to get my picture taken with the dragon as I haven’t seen anyone else do that before!”
