A REIKI master is inviting locals to visit her brand new centre in Delph as she pursues her dreams of helping others.

Sue Bradbury threw open the doors of ‘Reiki Bradbury’ at Gatehead Business Park last November after taking the plunge to expand her business beyond her base at home.
Now, she is offering hour-long Reiki sessions and training from the peaceful location to help her clients with pain relief, reducing stress or anxiety, arthritis, and much more.
Sue, who is affiliated to the UK Reiki Federation and also has a diploma in counselling, explained: “I came across Reiki and it felt like finding the missing piece of a jigsaw.
“I knew I wanted to learn how to use it to help other people, which I have always been interested in doing.
“I have witnessed firsthand what Reiki has done for people in pain mentally, physically and emotionally and Reiki helped them accept in a more positive way what cannot be changed.”
After finding an “inner peace and calmness” through Reiki, Sue decided to complete the three levels of training, which she now teaches to others, with Reiki master Ethel Kilroy.
And after becoming a master herself twelve months ago, she is excited about launching her new venture to help others using the ancient Japanese healing technique.
“Reiki is not the same for everybody and each person experiences something completely different,” explained Sue, who works for Oldham Council and volunteers at Dr Kershaw’s.
“I’ve got a wonderful location that’s very tranquil – and my husband has done a great job with the DIY getting it ready to welcome people in.”
At Reiki Bradbury, visitors can also enjoy Indian Head Massage or tarot and angel card readings by Amanda Benham, and buy a range of Neil’s Yard remedies.
