A BAR and restaurant empire built up by a Saddleworth business man has been shortlisted for a prestigious Publican Award.

Arc Inspirations was set up in 2000 by Martin Wolstencroft with business partner Chris Ure in Leeds and now boasts 14 venues across the North West.
Now, the ambitious operator has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Managed Operator, 2-50 sites’ at the prestigious Publican Awards, hosted by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser.
The Publican Awards, now in their 25th year, will take place on 15 March and recognise the highest levels of excellence in the hospitality sector.
Arc Inspirations has been shortlisted for its dedicated, driven and professional team with a passion for delivering service that leaves customers raving about the venues and returning time and time again.
The Publican Awards is renowned as one of the most rigorous competitions in the sector with the judging process including site visits, ‘mystery shoppers’ and a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style grilling.
Arc Inspirations will be up against stiff competition including family-run brewery Wadworth, The New World Training Company, The Coaching Inn Group and Hydes Brewery.
CEO of Arc Inspirations Martin Wolstencroft commented: “I am extremely proud of the whole team at Arc Inspirations and am delighted we have been recognised for a Publican Award.
“Every Arc Inspirations launch has been completed on time, within budget and received with rapturous praise from customers and industry experts alike.
“It’s all down to the approach of our team. Each bar consistently offers top service so we are pleased this has been recognised by these prestigious industry awards.”
And there is no slowing down for the franchise, as they are set to follow their recent opening of Banyan Bar & Kitchen in Manchester with a new venue in Leeds and relaunch in Harrogate following a £400,000 investment.
