Uppermill High Street will be closed on Saturday, December 2 between 1.55pm and 6pm for this year’s Santa Dash and Winter Wonderland.
Organisers Saddleworth Round Table said: “This year is the biggest Santa Dash ever and the safety of the 1,800 runners, supporters and marshals is paramount. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Is it just the High Street that’s closed ? Last year there was no access to Church Road ( up the side of Methodist Church) from the High Street . There are no signs to say there’s closure on that stretch .Please advise so residents can make alternative arrangements . Thanks
