A DAZZLING line-up of top local talent will be the star attractions at a giant family-friendly musical festival in Greenfield next month.
Sadd Fest 14 will be held at Saddleworth Rangers rugby ground on Shaw Hall Bank Road from 1pm to 8.30pm on Saturday, August 30.
An impressive schedule of bands and artists has been arranged, including Baked A La Ska,
The Giddy Gringos, Anthony Kinsey and Schwing, Lauren Housley, Jonny Hick’s Jukejoint Allstars and Double D.
Festival-goers can tuck into a mouth-watering selection of quality food and drinks from headline sponsors The White Hart, The Old Bell Inn and the Farrars Arms, among others.
And to make sure guests can enjoy the day without worrying about their purse strings, organisers from the Saddleworth Round Table have produced some special money-savers.
Festival organiser DaveMacDougall explained: “We have been listening to the attendees from last year and want the event to suit everyone, both financially and from a family perspective.
“For example, an adult ticket will be just £15 as well as discount prices on drinks and other refreshments. Children have free entrance.
“We are planning a memorable, humdinger of a day with a crackling line-up of top local talent and artists from across the region.
“We are delighted local businesses have offered their enthusiastic sponsorship and support again. It gives us lots of confidence to take the festival forward.”
To promote the festival, whose other sponsors are OWL Business News, Videcon and Northwood Property Services, the Sadd Fest bunny will be out and about around Saddleworth villages.
Funds will be used to host the Round Table¹s community-wide Christmas party for the elderly and the spectacular Winter Wonderland in Uppermill.
Tickets for Saddfest 14 are now on sale at The White Hart Inn, The Old Bell Inn, The Farrars Arms and Pauls Quality Meats in Uppermill.
