Saddleworth backs Hits Radio’s Mission Christmas to help disadvantaged children

KIND-HEARTED schools, businesses and organisations across Saddleworth are supporting Hits Radio’s Mission Christmas scheme to help disadvantaged children this festive season.

One in three children in Greater Manchester lives in poverty but the initiative collects and distributes presents to ensure they have something to open on Christmas morning.

Gifts can be donated for children and young people aged 0 to 18 years old and should be new and unwrapped.

There are drop-off locations across Greater Manchester, with many in Saddleworth and nearby including:

  • Saddleworth Leisure Centre, Uppermill (donations by Dec 17)
  • Saddleworth School, Uppermill (donations by Dec 11)
  • St Chads CE Primary School, Uppermill (donations by Dec 13)
  • Tesco’s Greenfield (donations by Dec 17)
  • Diggle Day Nursery, Diggle (donations by Dec 6)
  • The Co-Op, Delph (donations by Dec 17)
  • Knowsley Junior School, Springhead (donations by Dec 16)
  • Aspect IT Limited, Springhead (donations by Dec 17)
