NEW PLAYERS are being sought to bolster the long established and thriving Saddleworth Badminton Club.
Players aged 16-30 are invited to join the club, which is particularly looking for those who have the basics of the game, and would like to develop or resume playing after a break.
They are also seeking players who have played at a competitive standard in a league in the past and wish to start playing again.
They boast teams in the Oldham and Rochdale league and also accommodate ‘social’ players who are not seeking to play competitive badminton.
They practice at the Sports Hall of Saddleworth School in Uppermill on Wednesday evenings from 8pm-10pm during term times.
Members can be registered to play in the local league, which is included within the cost of the membership.
