SADDLEWORTH CHILDREN will be ruling the world as they get creative at a book group event to make their own maps, laws and flags.
Jen Feroze from Lonely Planet Kids will lead the Saddleworth Children’s Book Group as they become queens, kings, big chiefs, presidents, dictators or whatever they decree.
Then they can claim their throne as they set out how they rule their countries for the project, which is all about maps as part of non-fiction November.
This event will be held on Saturday 28 November from 2pm-3.30pm at Sandy Lane Community Church, Dobcross. Recommended for ages 6 – 11, but all welcome.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer. This is a ticketed event. Tickets are £2 for members, £3.50 for non-members. It will be possible to become a member on the day.
