Young dancers to stage pantomime with a difference in Denshaw

dance pantoNEARLY 50 children will take to the stage for a unique Christmas pantomime as a Saddleworth dance group teams up with a top drama school.

Saddleworth Street Dance, run by Tracy Johnson, are working with Wild Things from Rochdale to bring a production of ‘Babes in the Wood’ to life.

Rehearsals are underway as the children, aged three to 15 years old, get ready for their four performances at Denshaw Village Hall on December 17-19.

Tracy said: “I am very excited. The first rehearsal went really well and everybody was brilliant. It is going to be a great show.”

Babes in the Wood will be performed at Denshaw Village Hall on December 17-19, with an extra 2pm matinee on the Saturday.
