TWO SADDLEWORTH-BASED business and professional networking groups are joining forces to help support local companies.

The long established ‘Saddleworth Networking’ group run by Claire Holland, from Redmonds Solicitors of Delph, and Susan Mayall, Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers, has teamed up with a new Uppermill-based group set up by Philip Pearson, from Morgan Pearson Business Advisers.
They will collaborate to raise the profile of local businesses across community, and plan to hold free drop-in meetings on the first Tuesday of each month from 6pm-8pm.
Philip explained: “We are keen to provide a relaxed but professional environment to support and enhance the great collaboration currently going on in the Saddleworth area.
“The responses to recent business break-ins have shown what local business owners are capable of. Our group will provide more opportunities to work together.”
The venue will alternate between The Navigation in Dobcross moving to Dinnerstone in Uppermill, once per quarter, with the next meeting on Tuesday, March 1 at The Navigation.
The following meeting will be at Dinnerstone on Tuesday, April 5 and will include a short talk on VAT and the small business from Paul Stewart, a financial expert from KPMG.
