Saddleworth Rangers Rugby Club has won the British Amateur Rugby League Association Best Club Media Award for the second year in a row.
The 2014 award was presented to Matthew Horton on behalf of the media team at the glittering BARLA Annual Awards Presentation Dinner in Huddersfield.
Rangers’ media team produces match day programmes for supporters, as well as running a club website with news, events and match reports.
They also launched a Twitter page at the start of 2013 through which they provide live matchday updates from games for more than 1,800 followers.
And a newsletter launched last year helps supporters and players keep up to date with news, views and what is happening at the club.
Other accolades presented at the Awards Evening included Unsung Hero, International Open Age Player of the Year, Veteran Player of the Year, Open Age Coach, Club of the Year and Man of Steel.
