SILENT soldier silhouettes are in place around Saddleworth as a reminder of those who served in both world wars.
In Dobcross, the DVC has purchased a silent solider to be placed in the garden opposite Holy Trinity Church.
The Dedication will take place on Remembrance Sunday (November 10) at 10.30am on Woods Lane in the garden facing the Post Office.
Then everyone is welcome in church for the Service of Remembrance at 10.45am, which includes the Last Post, Two Minute Silence and Reveille.
Other silent soldiers have been placed around the community, including by the war memorial at Austerlands.
