What’s on at Saddleworth Museum

THERE is a host of events lined up at Saddleworth Museum in Uppermill.

On Sunday, November 10 is the monthly Farmers Market from 9am to 2pm. There is often a gazebo or stall outside but most will be inside the community gallery. Entrance free.Then on Wednesday, November 13 is the monthly Coffee Morning from 10am to 12noon. The cost of £1.50 includes a pot of tea or cafetière of coffee with your biscuit and alongside the normal raffle the 200+ club draw will also be made.

On the two Monday, November 11 and 25 will be the museum’s regular Family History drop-ins and help desk services operated by volunteers from 1pm-4pm.

The cost is £5 (£3 for Friends of the Museum) and will include gallery admission.

Meanwhile, a new exhibition is coming on the museum, starting with the preview of ‘The Winter Exhibition’ by the Saddleworth Group of Artists on Saturday, November 23.
