GRAB A stylish bargain at the first fundraiser of the year for Saddleworth WI on Saturday, May 7.
The Fashion Show by Saddleworth on Trend will be held at Dobcross Band Club, doors open 1.30pm for 2.30pm show.
There will also be several stalls, a raffle and the opportunity to purchase clothes after the show.
Tickets cost £7.50 in advance and include a welcome glass of prosecco and canapes. Proceeds will go to Transport for Sick Children.
At their April meeting, well-known Saddleworth man Paul Braithwaite, who is one of Britain’s leading mountaineers, gave an entertaining and informative talk spanning his career over 40 years.
An exciting line-up of speakers is scheduled for future meetings, which are on the first Wednesday of each month at 8pm at the Saddleworth Hotel.
They have also popular sub-groups who meet regularly.
Anyone now wishing to join the WI before 30 June 2016 who has not previously been a member will pay the reduced annual subscription rate of £28.
