SUMMER TRAINING has started for the Mossley Mayhem Softball Club – and they are looking for new players to join them. 
The club train at Greenfield’s Churchill Playing Fields on Thursday nights from 7pm and boast three teams who play in the Manchester Softball League on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
And as softball – which is similar to baseball – is a mixed sport, requiring five men and five women per team, the club is on the hunt for players of all abilities and ages but especially girls and women.
The club has players into their 60s so age, fitness and knowledge are not issues – all can be improved and developed at the weekly sessions. All equipment will be provided.
