Special guest Wynne Evans to join Saddleworth Male Voice Choir at Festival of Arts

SPECIAL GUEST soloist Wynne Evans will perform with Saddleworth Male Voice Choir as they mark their 60th anniversary at the Festival of Arts this month.

Welsh tenor soloist Wynne Evans is well-known from the ‘Go Compare’ adverts on television and his debut album ‘A Song in My Heart’ went to the Number 1 in the classical charts.

He will take centre stage with the Saddleworth Male Voice Choir as they perform on Thursday, June 11 at the Civic Hall in Uppermill at 7.30pm.

The concert will have a continental feel with music from all over Europe and will particularly feature the songs of Mario Lanza and his home country, Italy.

As well as being part of the Festival of Arts, the concert is also part of the Choir’s year of celebration to mark their 60th anniversary.
