A GRASSCROFT school for children with autism needs to find a new home.
Pupils, parents and staff at Bright Futures are looking for new premises with at least ten study/work areas, at least three toilets and a kitchen.
There will need to be plenty of outside space for students’ taxis to pick up and drop off and also parking for staff cars. A garden is desirable but not essential.

The school’s proprietors currently rent 164 Oldham Road but the building has now been put up for sale by the owners.
With just seven pupils and a similar number of staff, the school is very small and proprietors want to keep the small scale, homely feel that is so popular with students, parents and staff.
Zoe Thompson, School Proprietor and Head of Development at Bright Futures, said: “We always knew our current home would be sold sooner or later. We have a good idea of what we need to replace it.
“We hope to buy a commercial or residential property in or near to Saddleworth and would love to hear from people who might be able to help us find what we need.”
The school began life at its current home in 2010 with only one pupil but now has seven pupils and at least one more due to enrol soon.
It specialises in provision for children with autism and brings a new approach to autism education to support the social and emotional development of children.
Recently, they were awarded a staggering £7,080 Big Lottery Fund grant to help secure top provision for their pupils.
The generous donation from the Lottery’s Awards for All Programme will fund a training course, due to start in Spring, for parents of children with autism and professionals who work with them.
