AN EYE-CATCHING display showcased the stunning work of GCSE art students at Saddleworth School.
Paintings, drawings and watercolours by 93 Year 11 pupils decorated the hall so parents and staff could admire the work accomplished over two years.

Students had to complete two coursework modules as well as a full day exam looking at natural form, animals, identity and people and places.
Pieces ranged from faces of celebrities, musicians and athletes to cartoons and film characters, including Marilyn Monroe, Edward Scissorhands and Harry Potter.
An array of vivid animals, from horses and tigers to birds, were also on display, as well as mouth-watering depictions of fruit, sweets and ice-cream.
Mr Jones, curriculum leader for Art, said: “I am really proud of the students and everything looks fantastic.
“We tried to get them to come up with their own ideas and be creative. The course has been very pupil driven.
“We’ve had a 100 per cent pass rate for last few years and the work this year is of the same standard so I am confident they will all do well when the results are revealed in August.”
