A SECRET act will help raise the roof at The Threetles Christmas Party as revellers dance the night away to Beatles hits and festive favourites.
On Friday, December 20 the four-piece Beatles celebration band will perform some of the rock group’s earlier records at the Uppermill Civic Hall from 8pm until midnight.
There will also be a special set of songs which The Beatles gave away, including World Without Love, Bad To Me and I’ll Keep You Satisfied, as well as Christmas hits.
And with more than 200 tickets sold for the event already, band member Paul Brierley urged guests to book quickly if they want one of the remaining 100.
He added: “We have confirmed a very special guest artist (apart from Santa) who will be appearing on the bill but the identity is a closely guarded secret.
“The Threetles will be performing mostly older material from 1962/1966 and will alsobe venturing into the songs they gave away, with some surprises here too.”
The Civic Hall will be transformed into a party atmosphere for the event, designed by Paul’s partner Sheenagh.
There will be with a large dancefloor and tables for groups of people, with two barsfor drinks and food available downstairs.
The Threetles formed earlier this year as a three-man band but have since welcomed further members and played at events and venues across Saddleworth, including Party in the Park.
The Threetles Christmas Party is on Friday, December 20 at the UppermillCivic Hall. Doors open at 7pm with the first set starting at 8pm.
