URGENT HELP is required to prevent Beavers and Cubs units at 22nd Lydgate closing by the end of this year.
Over the last few months, they have been appealing for helpers for their Scout unit but no responses or offers of support meant the group had to close.
Now, the Beavers and Cubs units face a similar grim fate if helpers aren’t found to continue the groups and re-establish the Scouts to ensure progression for the children.
A minimum of five new helpers working across all three units are needed to ensure they all remain viable in the future or the groups will close after their Christmas party.
If individuals wish to help out but cannot commit to every Friday, they can share with other helpers to cover one place between them.
