Talented dancers Jude Nolan, 9, Alex Rutherford, 12, and Cameron Flood, 14, from the Latin Steps Dance Company’s Formation teams, have their eyes fixed firmly on lifting the trophy at the Blackpool Junior Dance Festival in April 2015.

Alex already has a few trophies on the shelf as he recently came second in the Novice Junior All England Championships with his partner, Ashleigh Joinson.

Jude and Cameron both started Latin American dancing this year and train hard with the company in Ashton-under-Lyne under the watchful eye of Principal, Aimee Shepperd.

And as Latin Steps prepare to take four Latin Formation teams to Blackpool next year, the whole group is busy fundraising for their glamorous costumes, sparkly shoes and obligatory spray tans.

They have already raised just over £1,500 by holding cake bakes, second-hand goods stalls, themed discos, sponsored silence and doing bag-packing in local supermarkets.

They are also pleased to announce they will be performing on stage at Ashton-under-Lyne Christmas markets at 7.30pm on December 1 and 18.

The teams would welcome donations for raffle prizes. If you can help, please email latinstepsfundraising@outlook.com.
